New Years Day Nordic Skiing

New Years Day! We had the most amazing day skiing together at Beaver Creek, which is just a short drive from Lander. We thought conditions would be sunny and warm up there like it was in town....

Once we got Ben on the skis, he didn't want to ride in the backpack anymore.

We made it to 'The Face'

Laura only got frustrated after about 2 hours of ski tangles and falling.

Ben would merely laugh when he fell down.

He really laughed when Laura or Mommy fell down.

The panty and underwear tree. (I have no idea!)

Maybe next time Scott will toss his panties up there.


It was balmy in the trees but I almost gave up when we first got to the parking lot.
The wind was blowing so hard that the snow stung our faces.
